I love this time of year when the forsythia bushes are all yellow blossoms and the daffodils and hyacinths are in bloom. I do not plant tulips anymore do to the deer eating them.

They're tulips? I never would have known. Clueless I am! They were planted by a friend now departed.

Here are a couple pics she took at Chanticleer a few years back.

I am not sure if your previous picture is tulips. The bud looks different.

In your first picture in this post, I think I see a pretty burgundy dahlia, some tall alliums and a columbine plant.

Spring is the best time of the year :)

I heard a very loud banging sound downstairs yesterday. I walked down to find this male turkey fighting his reflection in the window. He was banging his beak and head against the glass so hard I was afraid it would break. He was back this evening courting two females. I wouldn't want to mess with him!

Thanks. Yes it was a dead jellyfish that was beached when I got there. It was huge. The colors were awesome. Never saw something like that in NJ. Maybe it was radioactive

Please post your Nature Pictures here.

Bummer my hand covered the tail. G-Shock action that day. Served two of us for dinner.
