What other watch content do you guys consume?

Curious as to what other types of watch related media / content the community here consumes?

I have been tuning into OT (Raxoren's) podcast "Across Timezones" that recently launched and watch youtube videos for reviews and watch related discussion

Are there any particular websites, youtube channels, podcasts. etc that you guys are into that would be of interest to the rest of TRF?

Plenty of YouTubers out there who produce excellent watch content. Adrian Barker from Bark & Jack makes some brilliant videos (Mainly Rolex related) with very high production quality. He announced recently that he's quit his day job to focus on expanding the Bark & Jack brand and channel. I'm assuming he's a member here but I've never heard him mention it in any of his videos. A likable guy, definitely worth a look

Teddy Baldassarre produces some very watchable content as well. A lot of microbrands and more affordable watches. Not a whole lot of luxury watch content but a great channel.

In truth, there's plenty of excellent YouTubers in this community

I like Adrian from Bark & Jack as well.

Another one I watch is Emkwan, who is a member here on TRF. He has a tech review channel, but sometimes he also talks about watches and cars.

Other forum will be Watchprosite and Timzone. For budget watch options, Watchuseek.

For YouTube content, I follow Watchbox, Federico talks watches, Bark&Jack, and WatchArtSci. My personal recommendation is WatchArtSci. Bill at WatchArtSci is fantastic and has ton of content (watch rankings, brand in-depth discussions) that differentiates him from other YouTube channels.

I like the way he talks without any pretentiousness, but I don't like his approach to watch collecting. He is purely an investor not a watch user. He said is too afraid to wear Batman because he lives in central London like it is Mogadishu or Bagdad .

I like time4apint podcast and even more thegreynato (now part of Hodinkee) https://soundcloud.com/thegreynato

Youtubers are too P U R E C L A S S

I found this too, though I'm not a regular watcher.

I follow a lot of these. When I saw Tim from watchbox in person (vs narrating) I was surprised. Haha I imagined him looking different for some reason than how he sounds in the review videos.

I'm at a place in my life where I'm not lusting after watches so I don't visit any sites with pundits bloviating about anything. In fact its rare I ever hear/see commercials so I definitely don't seek them out about watches.

That's honestly better for the wallet. You still browse TRF though?

Nothing.

I’m bored with watches. Have been so for a long time now. Ive got a sweet little collection. I’m mostly done. It’s been a long path to get here.

Lately I only come here to the open discussion. And I come for the people. Not the watches .

Yeah but it's just discussion. Not people trying to sell stuff masquerading as information.

I’m a big fan of Federico, Jory Goodman and Tim Mosso. Hodinkee opinions seem paid for and Theo and Harris is ok. Though, Christian can be a bit much at times. I do like how he tries to get to the story and emotion of our hobby. He can tell a story. Others miss that.

You tube offers some excellent content for when I’m in the kitchen etc.

Watchfinder and CRM are my regular go to channels

I can't believe that Federico is 30 yrs old... he looks much older. I agree on the T&H content - some of it is good and he is great at the story telling. However, he definitely is over the top at times and Anna in the videos does absolutely nothing for me.

He’s only 30?! The age cliff is steep.

Another vote from me for Federico. He doesn’t hide the fact that he’s flogging watches, he’s not afraid to voice his opinion even if it might upset the faint hearted (maybe don’t watch all his content if you like Hublot and especially Franck Muller) and most of all he comes across as pretty likeable.

Adrian is good though is it just me that thinks he’s starting to cosy up to some brands a bit too much? Also I hope the dude gets blackballed if he does end up flogging his BLNR

He was a member here, got banned for promoting his social media channels using a multiple.
