OK so you 'crossed swords' with David during the whole 'Trollgate' thing but you didn't introduce yourself in the 'New Members' section yet nonetheless you received some 20-30 Welcomes in the first thread you started (asking for advice), along with a further 30-odd 'Congratulations' when you posted photo's of your watch.
Introducing ones self is not a prequisite to joining a forum, although I will admit it is the thing to do. So to follow your logic, having not introduced myself gave David license to go on the attack? Really?

And yes. the VAST majority of the posters here are good people, and my first post was a warm welcome to be sure.

But when I started to second guess my AD after reading "Watchout" I was knocked around fairly hard by a few members.

So has everyone been nice and inviting? Like I said, no. Was I a little miffed? Sure! Am I over it? Totally.

What I DIDNT do was throw my purchase away because of some poor treatment, and a day later announce my departure. Good grief.

Or so the tv programme was entitled, but they were actually just so full of juice & rotten blood that they quite literally fell apart inside....

When you said the forum had 'hardly been welcoming' my gut reaction was "well to be fair mate say hello first & I'm sure we would've been'....

Not at all mate I'm not taking specific sides I assure you.....
I only 'took umbrage' (sp?) at your '... Was I made to feel welcome' post which I may have misinterpreted.....

See??

B*st*rds!! .... but all that "Watch Out!" malarkey's beyond me mate I'm just here for the crack & the cool pictures!

Really....??? Can we let it go then??

You did misinterpret, but I may not have been clear either. I was warmly welcomed by anyones definition in my first post.

Please do everyone a favour if you want to leave............just leave its your choice and it's free and it's simple........no point making an issue about it.

I totally agree, stay or vanish.

The pronouncement routine is long since stale.
