Gasket bulge/ tear

Hi watchmakers,
After cleaning and drying my 7 month old 116613LB I noticed that the gasket has this bulge-tear.
Sorry for the poor photo.
Is this a cause for concern?
Must I return to AD for repair?

Cheers

A torn, bulged or in any way damaged seal should be replaced.

The multiple seals in a triplock are to provide redundancy.

And so I sent it to Rolex AD last 18 Jan 2020 for warranty repair. It's now 5 Feb and no Bluesy insight. They said it may be ready for pick-up on 21 Feb.

I didn't know it takes this long to replace and process considering they have to ship this from NZ to Australia RSC!

It isn’t the work time it will take to replace one o-ring. Did they tell you it will be a repair done under warranty?

First and foremost, other jobs sent to them before Your’s arrived means some waiting time.

Secondly, they must inspect the watch movement regardless of your request.

So I got it back 15 Feb. A few days earlier than what was said.

I am pleased to note that the crown is not as hard to pull out and wind.

Upon closer inspection there was a noticeable lubricant applied. This was more so on the day I got it.

Thank you RSC Melbourne.
