Watch Postage in the Uk
how do you all post your watches in the uk since special delivery covers only for £2500-00 max

i had the same problem with mine... in the end posted it for 85 quid with cover, but found that it would be exempt anyhow as it didnt cover watches/jewellery over £500!
A lesson learned, but fortunately it got delivered ok. I need to know this too! |

For valuables worth significantly over £2500, probably best to send it by courier with added insurance option
eg DHL optional insurance cover costs something like 1.5% of the declared value. |

I have been through this too...to my knowledge there isn't a way to insure watch postage in the UK beyond the £2500....if anyone knows then please tell me....I tried everything and every company I could think of....no joy at all...I am not sure how Blowers and the like manage to send very valuable watches fully covered, they must have a special insurance scheme set up.....
