Submariner 16610 - Last Tritium Dial

A question for all of the Submariner experts out there:

What was the last year/series that Rolex used tritium on the dial and hands of the 16610 Sub?

I believe it was between T and U series.

at least on the GMT Master, the U serial had both Tritium and Luminova. I would assume the same for the Sub.

Related to the question above - is it common to have the tritium dials replaced when a watch is serviced?

I have seen a number of Subs listed for sale that would have had tritium dials originally, but in the pictures appear to have luminova (no T notations on the dial)?

Yes, it is very common..

Since most of them no longer glow, it is almost always a recommendation from Rolex on a service. Many owners simply say yes on these recommendations..

They recommend changing the dial on lume alone even if the dial is in great shape? This seems odd. I wonder if its a money thing because it undermines the collectablility. Maybe thats their objective.
