Lovely example!
"went for lunch came back with yet another watch" I can't tell you how many times, I went to a dealer or AD just to look and end up with a new watch.

Tell me about it, I've done that twice in the last month, was just 'looking' during my lunch hour, and came back with a gold daytona one time, and a day-date the next!!!

Jed kindly gave me a coupla straps I wasn't convinced about subs on straps but now I have been converted Especially on this gilt dial a vintage strap just matches it perfectly Here's the original insert that' was on it I swapped it out with another one I had as I didn't want to damage the original one , it's a fat fat font early 60s faded so rare as hens teeth and hard to replace so will keep it good and use my other 70s faded one I have which u see in the scans above |
