Very nice looking watches. Thank you for sharing!

BTW, I love the 2 T/T Blue Subs. I'm not even going to ask why you have 2 of them.

Hey, Thanks..

Yeah, as for my 2 TT subs, I have 2 of them because I can. hahaha... ;) and I love the blue sub.

In reality, one of my sub's is a 2002 model which has the deep blue dial, the other on the left is a 2007 model which has very few differences and has more of a washed out blue face.. from day to day I switch between sub's.. people think it's the same watch i wear, little do they know.. but all that matters is that i know and love each of them for their slight differences being a true TT "blue" sub fan.

I like your attitude. Could you post a closeup on the Day Date Bark?

Ha,ha,ha...being a T/T Blue Sub fan myself, that would have been my answer as well, that's why I said I won't even ask why.

My daydate is old school. Bought it new a few years ago. I had the lugs on the watch high polished. it really set it off when i did that. as you can see the band has some stretch and this watch was my everyday watch for years and has taken more then a good beating and it's still lookin good.. now i only wear it once in a while, thought it deserved a break.

thanks jj,
I been here for some time now and I must say i do enjoy your posts and your thoughts about the tt sub. I feel the same for the sub as you do my friend, but if I could change one thing, I would love it if rolex put the solid clasp and solid links on the tt sub like they put on the gmt master and some how put the divers exstention on it as well as the gmt master lacks one.

The Blue Sub (so lovingly nicknamed BLUESY by me), is the quintessential TT watch out there. The BLUE on that dial is unquestionably the best damn BLUE in the world. No other BLUE comes even close to it.

Nice DD "Bark" finish!

Quite rare, these days!

But the bezel is aftermarket, I guess?

BTW: www.classicwatchparts.com can fix that stretched bezel for you (won't come cheap, though, but they do a nice job!).

yes, the bezel and dial are both aftermarket.

bought the watch with a gold diamond dial and it had a bark finish bezel.
I still have both. Once I changed it up withthe bezel and the dial, it was more to my style.

Pray tell Jordo.
What type of employment do you engage in that the
gold day date diamond would be your everyday watch?

but tell me, what does it matter what I do? A rolex pres you can wear while you're taking a dump, to taking deals down in a three piece suit... If you have one that is..
