Day and Night out with the 5711R

Had a lovely day out with my Nautilus. The weather has really picked up here this last week so was great to get out in nature before a delicious dinner at Core, the new 2 Michelin restaurant in London. Had the best lamb and chocolate dessert I've ever had and the scallops sashimi was lovely and beautifully presented. I love summer days like this.

Neil, you’re killing me brother. This has to be my next watch. You’re such a bad (good) influence!

Many thanks guys, was a lovely day. I don't know how but the watch does look almost pristine in my pics, in reality there are 3/4 marks now on the bezel. We had some Italian waiters at our table and naturally I became Italian myself after a couple of cocktails and we all started waving our hands around like happy maniacs, so I've probably picked up another one.

Clare Smyth is indeed a very talented chef, voted the world's number one female chef and fully deserved it, she learnt well from Ramsay. I probably enjoyed it more than the Ledbury.

I’m materialistic what can I say. I spend all my money on watches and wallets and such...and eat $.50 USD instant noodles :)

Looks fantastic-I need to be checking that out next time I’m in London.I tend to frequent the Savoy Grill as it’s on the doorstep and serves English favourites as I’m quite boring with food.

Last time I wore my 5711R was in GR’s Bread Street Kitchen in Dubai.Whether related to wearing the watch or not we ended up having the restaurant manager as our server and he was a total WIS and Patek fan.He gave us a tour of the kitchen/bar etc.A great night.

Looks nice-it’s somewhere I have not heard of before. My Mrs loves the Steak Pudding in the Savoy and we can stagger to our room. Its always pretty good there to be fair but may give Goodmans a try next time we are around-you’re spoilt for choice in Central London for great restaurants.

The London restaurant scene is incredible. I don't think there is anything like it for sheer diversity, quality and breadth. I go to NY a lot and London is up there if not better.

Core is right up there but I am not just referring to high end places.

Also for those willing, please try the tasting menu here:

https://www.ladamedepiclondon.co.uk/

Plus the place has the best Rhone wine list I have seen in a long time.
