I feel relieved in seeing this thread. I got mine 2 weeks ago and have the same issue. Has anyone addressed this issue with the AD?

Has anyone tried this? I really want to solve this problem without going to the AD. Im beginning to think that this watch is a lemon. The accuracy is spot on but seing that date jump a day and a half is really irritating.

Interesting problem to have. I like Peters idea initially. Cycle thru the entire month on the first click and even wind thru a few days manually.

If not I have a feeling these will end up at RSC.

I really like the watch but am glad I held off at this point. Have heard this from a few folks away from TRF as well.

I'll try the date cycling thing. It's pretty much happening everyday. Was going to call the AD today but I'll try this first. Can you call any AD or do you have to call the one you bought from?

Just cycled it through by hand by two months both by using the hour jump and by minute winding and neither had any issue. We will see over the next couple days if anything changes.

There is another thread on this already. I cycled mine and it didn't fix anything. It also is very random when it decides to skip a day. Mine will be sent off in early August for repair. My AD told me it should be only a couple week turn around.

Sounds like an issue they may have missed in development...
I'm sure the company will resolve in short time.

So far I've had two day of perfect operation in regards to the date change. I'll keep you all updated later in the week or early next week.

Is anyone having problems with the New Basel 2018 Tudor GMT M79830

Thanks for letting us know, I contacted Rolex Canada and they advised that they have watchmakers trained for the New In-house Tudor Movements and they will resolve this problem at no cost
Thanks everyone for sharing

I’m following this thread very closely. It won’t stop me from getting one of these watches (which I suspect I will love), but I’m more than curious to see how Tudor/RSC deal with this problem....and indeed when the problem gets resolved.

I have the same issue. The date is 1 day ahead when it jumps. So disappointed with Tudor. I wonder if they have done enough testing to ensure the movement is OK. I have multiple Rolex and have never experienced this.

Ok so more info on this. I had a few more days of issues so I contacted my AD. He said that Tudor is aware of this and the reason they didn't catch it is it takes several days/weeks of wear to pop up sometimes. He said they do have a fix and as of 1 week ago he said he'd feel confident that 2-3 weeks from now the fix would have made it's way to the service centers and he'd recommend sending it in. Since then though I've had 14 days of perfect operation so I'm not sure if the issue is something that can self correct or really what's causing it. Either way doesn't seem to be a big deal and it will obviously be handled free of charge by Tudor with the 2 year warranty.

The AD gave me an update on my watch and they said that after observing the watch and noticing the jumping date, they decided to send it to the main AD probably in Switzerland for the movement to be fixed. For the length of time that they will fix the watch, they can’t say.

New Update:
They are giving a brand new Tudor GMT as a replacement for the Tudor GMT with Date issues.
Great Service!

Wow. Did they give you any more information on the problem?

Unfortunately, No.
Just a BNIB Watch. Hope everyone gets that instead of a Repaired brand new movement.

The AD messaged me and said that my watch is ready for pick up. I am currently out of the country. Now I am really excited about this. I just hope a picture can be posted.

Preowned

I have the same issue, however I didn’t purchase mine new. I bought it with the original warranty card though. With the AD still honor the warranty?
