Over 2 years and 4 ADs, no calls other than texted ads to come in for jewelry showcases that I’m not interested in while they continue to advocate for my Rolex. Luckily I went grey and don’t care anymore. Will report back here if I ever get a call but I really am set so it’s just an academic exercise at this point.

Things are slowly getting better.

A better question to ask is how many people will ultimately pass on the Rolex they have been waiting on when suddenly the grey market is at parody with the AD market.

I have a feeling many will be passing as prices continue to decline.

I've worked with my current AD for 5 months and have gotten 4 calls, 2 for Rolex. I guess it depends on your relationship. I'm beyond grateful and feeling extremely lucky to have cross paths with him. He'll definitely get a stocking stuffer this Christmas.

Are two tone DJ’s any easier to come by than Professional models?

Way easier. 16 months ago you had to buy a TT DJ to get on the list for a pro.

No calls here. On the „list“ for a polar explorer and bluesy since 6 months.

I'm on the list at two AD's, and I'm expecting a call next week. I'm trying to be optimistic. It usually doesn't work out too well.

My AD said op41 very difficult and waits are long. Dj 41 sounds 3-4 months.

I didn’t get the call for my 40th birthday a few weeks back.

Purchased an omega and am done with Rolex until I can walk in and buy what I want.

Was getting one to celebrate a baby boy. He’ll soon be walking and talking and at this rate, he’ll probably be shaving before my phone goes.

No. Asked for a BLRO on oyster in March 2021 and a DJ41 mint in Apr 2022.

This is what I think is happening. AD's are getting the same or a somewhat increased number of watches at a steady pace and they're working through the lists. Job losses aren't much of a thing...yet, but inflation sure is and so some people are turning them down and the lists moves on. We're still a long way from routinely having watches in the case, but you can feel it easing just a bit. Some of it also depends on where you are too. Not every AD has the same customer profile or local economy.

Interesting. What was it? I got the text for a digest, which I don’t like, and an explorer 136 mm, which I already had. Declined both.

No !
Having asked a few local AD's for op41 Blue , exp ll polar & P39 figured I'd make it easy for them. Lol. I would buy all three if and when !

I have a small buy history with all 3 but in my area me thinks the heavy hitters will always come first .

Turned down a silver OP41 - not enough contrast for my eyes to read well
Was offered YM & glitzy DJ Turned those down - very politely , actually I was apologetic
Not settling & not looking to flip either

Market is still ticking …tons of people willing to pay over msrp. Looks like prices have softened for the time being though.
