That said, I do find it funny to go out of your way to modify this watch, to make it more rugged. It's almost ironic that you'd spend the time, effort and money when you could just as easily (actually easier) just wear it and fully embrace the tool character and daily scratches that go along with it.

Anyhow, I am certainly excited to see the results and again congratulate you on an amazing watch.
All true.

Most of the fun is to make it different from the pack so to say.

The rest of the fun is to “de-bling” it.

The goal was to make it underwhelming. I buy Rolex for the mechanics and construction not for the shine and pop.

The fact it looks like a generic stainless watch was my goal - only myself and the “oyster spotters” / WIS’s of the world might give it a second look.

Under the radar.

I meant no offense but I am extremely glad I am not an "Oyster spotter/WIS of the world", whatever that means

I didn't know it was possible to be on this forum for any length of time and not know what those terms mean.

This.

I often spot the bracelet before anything when out and about.

I was waiting to see the results, looks fantastic man! I'm sort of tempted to do it to my own, but at the same time I have a thing for OEM finishing. Definitely intrigued by the OF idea though...

Looks great! I’ve thought about doing that to my 214270. Very cool.
