too small wrist and preceramic diver?
does anyone have an issue with a pre ceramic diver not being able to fit that well because of a small wrist? what is the watch and what is your wrist size?
it's not extreme but my wrist is about 6 and 2/3 inch. And my explorer 1 swiss only doesnt sit centered because I can't take out enough links from the 6 oclock side. |

The difference is night and day!!! To try it out, no need to change the clasp, just put your watch upside down on your wrist, by that I mean put it on the wrist with the crown facing your elbow, rather than your wrist (like a LHD watch as that will put the clasp in the same position as if you would rotate it. I tried it, and 2 minutes later all my clasps were changed to that position for good Sent from my SM-A415F using Tapatalk |

Agreed try the upside down clasp method. It worked for my 14060 and 6.5 wrists.
Alternatively, swap out to a NATO. |

6.5 inch wrist and same problem. Tried the clasp trick and removing a permanent link on 6 o clock side. Nothing worked so sold it. Oyster doesn’t work for me and I don’t like the giant clasp that has the glide lock on the new subs. Sticking with jubilee bracelets going forward.

Take out the appropriate links so the bracelet fits correctly. Don’t flip the bracelet

Take out a perm link. I had it on my explorer 2 and this made it fit so comfortable like a modern watch.

What are you trying to center, the watch head or the clasp? It may be hard to center both, but I've never found it necessary to perfectly center the clasp, as long as the clasp blades follow how the wrist curves.
Sounds to me like your issue is more with wrist shape than size, because a five-digit Explorer shouldn't require that much shortening to fit, unless the curvature of your wrist is such that you can't get the clasp situated comfortably. You can also try using the micro adjustment holes on the clasp itself and perhaps even add back a link somewhere (while making the bracelet "shorter" on the clasp itself) to balance it. |
