Very very nice. I am contemplating a new acquisition of the 5167.

Can a 5165 get a shout out too in this thread?
I've owned my 38mm Aquanaut for three years and it has been my daily wearer most days to the office and weekend nights out. How versatile is that!? I love the under-the-radar look and the tropical strap keeps it lightweight. I don't mind the scuffs on the bezel and clasp, they add character and history. This is my go-to watch for most occasions except extreme sports like tennis and golf. I couldn't be happier with this watch especially with my thin wrist. The 5167 may get all the attention but my 38mm 5165 deserves respect too. Cheers |

What is a reasonable price for 5167A on the strap right now?

Is it possible that secondhandprice for these watches will drop with time since they are so popular now?
Love the way they look though! |

Guys, I tried one on today at my local AD. They offered me 10% off, but I have no frame of reference. What is a good discount?
BTW...it was beautiful. Now I'm seriously contemplating selling my Daytona, and Yachtmaster to help finance the upgrade. |

I hear you. I can't get it out of mind. I don't actually need to get rid of the Daytona and YachtMaster so much as feel guilty for having more watches than will fit in my small watch case.
Truth be told, I really want to upgrade from Stainless Daytona to WG Panda, and sell YM Blue for DJ II Blue Stick w/Fluted, and add Aquanaut. And, to complicate matters, the Tudors are back. Scoping 2-3 of those. So many watches, so few days to wear them:-( Anyway, I'll likely have the Aquanaut by month end! What is a good price brand new from Trusted Seller? Every little bit helps... Lastly, I love the look of the Steel Bracelet. I assume it is more expensive? |

They can be had for around US$19k, more with the bracelet. Personally, I love the rubber strap - so comfortable & sportier. Good luck with your hunt, it's a great watch.

There are several ADs in town and I think I know where to get 15% off from a jeweler in another city. What might a Trusted Seller be able to do, and if anything more, would the savings even be worth it? |

I am a new owner of 5167/a but I found that locking the clasp requires some skills and practice. Often after I lock one side and try to push in the other side, the locked side would come out a little bit or even bounce back. Is this a common issue or is it a problem with my watch only?

Love the watch, its low profile and the fact that it's not recognized by most. |

Would love Aquanaut in Rubber but they are back ordered but have this on reserve for a few days. May jump on it after sleeping on it. Bracelet looks better in person than in this photo but still nice.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1379186094.475636.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1379186115.572907.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1379186128.871364.jpg

Why does the Aquanaut look so damn good on a rubber strap, when the steel bracelet is such a work of art by itself, but seems to detract a bit from the watch head...almost too much steel. Weird...but I may still jump for steel bracelet since that's all I can find:-(

The nice thing about the aquanaut rubber strap is that the pattern on the rubber matches the dial pattern. But it looks great with steel bracelet too imo. If you really prefer it with the strap I would wait and get that

Okay...now I'm thoroughly frustrated. Bought the Aquanaut with Steel Bracelet tonight with a really nice discount...BUT, when sized the damn bracelet was either too tight or way too large. The links are huge and there are no half links nor micro adjustments on the clasp. I feel sick!!!!
Does anyone know if Patek makes a half link for order? Praying they do... If you know, please share. Thx! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free |

Turns out Patek makes a link and a half for this very issue. Price is $225. My AD is getting one for me gratis.
