Don't know what to tell ya, we have members who have been banned who I swear come back on a weekly basis and try to stir the pile, under a different name of course...

Normally when we ban someone, it's for life. Most bannings are for spammers and trolls. Once in a while we are forced to ban a member who refuses to follow the few rules we have. Usually, it's a lifetime ban, although we have made one or two exceptions. But those are extremely rare (on the order of Hope diamond rarity).

What Steve is referring to are banned members who try to come back as a new user. They are usually outted fairly quickly because they exhibit the same behavior that got them banned the first time.

Glad I didn't pull the trigger on the new Sub, this thread proves the brand really is a tool watch.

I know what a spammer is but what's a troll?

I used to send PMs asking members to read the rules when the gun/weapon posting was made.

After the hundredth time I decided that I would just delete the avatar/pic in the first instance and edit it in the event of the member reintroducing the pic in the thread or avatar.

In the second scenario the member would either get the point or start a whinging thread like this one.

I see you opted for the latter.
