I think the helmets are for the distracted drivers, not the motorcycle riders. If there are accidents, I'd worry more about the surrounding drivers plowing into medians, mis-negotiating turns and rear ending other cars. They would also come in handy for protecting yourself from the blows your wife/girlfriend would be issuing about the head and face as you fixate on the 'scenery'.

What's with the tiny pics, BTW... ??? I feel cheated...

The real problem is doesn't make sense as written. Helmets have nothing to do with causing motorcycle accidents. The set-up should be something like..."What is the main cause of motorcyle injuries in ..." That would make the punchline work.
