Early Speedy bracelets have hollow centers. Later models are 5 pieces per link and the shiny little plates on either side of the center link are solid, but act as caps. There are a number of different bracelets depending on the year and model you finally decide on.

What is considered as “warmth” of the hesalite is just distortion for me. It has a quirky vintage vibe that a lot would like, but I preferred the clarity of the sapphire. The “milky ring” doesn’t bother me at all. In fact, I like it as it is quite unique; you don’t see watches with this milky ring. We may compare specs and numbers. But in the end, buying a watch is an emotional decision. Your money, your watch; get the one you want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sapphire sandwich for clarity, toughness of the crystal, and view case back.
BTW, love the Bluesy, too! (maybe someday!) Good luck in your quest - Ben. |

I WAY prefer the hesalite, but mine has sapphire. When it came down to it, the slightly smaller size of the First Omega in Space made a bigger difference on my wrist.
Now an FOIS with hesalite, that'd be the perfect watch. |

Hi all,
I'm new to the luxury watch world and looking to buy my first Omega. I wanted to know what are the main differences btw a Speedmaster Moonwatch and a Speedmaster Reduced? Thanks! |

I believe the biggest difference is the reduced model uses an automatic movement where as the professional uses a manual movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
