Incoming..... Better than Daytona!?!?!

I shared this at Omega community—and I want to share this here aswell:
I’ve experienced many chrono-watches: Rolex Daytona (platinum, steel, TT...), different variations of a Moonwatch... now I got this racing Speedmaster.
I have to say:
The best chrono that I’ve ever had. My favourite Speedmaster so far! Well... that modern, close to original Moonwatch with hesalite is very close..
But for example Daytona: the dials are just too small for my older eyes. This racing Speedmaster; the size, quality, legibility, colours.... Simply perfect!
Just incredible movement..... Wooooow!!!!

Very nice. Used to have the black and orange one for a while and it is a great looking watch.

In my opinion it's a much better value than a Daytona. I'm very tempted to get this one myself but have no room in my collection because it's too close to my white 116500.
Awesome piece, congratulations!

The subdials on the Daytona are just way too small for me; legendary watch, but can’t see the time!!
I enjoy a lot this Speedmaster!!
The dial.. crisp&clear, I can see everything even in the darker lighting... the white colour reminds me of GS snowflake somehow; just pure Art!

Congrats. Love mine. It’s the best Speedy in Omega’s catalogue.

I would not say it's the better value than Daytona, the price graph is clear.
But it's the chronograph that can be actually used for measuring time

Beautiful watch, and great close up photos of that beautiful dial. Love the racing style minute track as well. After seeing you pics, I think it's a model I should pay more attention to.

I'm sure the Daytona is a superb watch, but I have never personally been a fan of it. So this one would get my vote for sure. Lovely texture on that dial for sure.

Congratulations!

Cheers,
Carl

I love this one, but the fact that no one seems capable of discussing it without using the word "Daytona" has always turned me away from it...

Yeah:
I can truly recommend this Speedmaster!

And you don’t have to wait for 8 years to get one or spend tens of thousands of dollars/euros for some other watches to get one...
