1965 5513 gilt? or white?

Hello I just came across this watch and have some questions.
The dial has been relumed and I thought the lettering should be gilt(gold) but it looks white all of it.
It glows in the dark pretty good but the one picture shows the work of the relumer pretty bad.
It does not look that bad without a bright light and a lope.

So is it suposed to be gold or could it fade??from the work done??
Any comments are appreciated

Thanks in advance.

It's an atrocity - sorry, but that's ugly.

"It does not look that bad without a bright light and a lope."

Neither did Quasimodo...

This was a well worn watch. If only it could speak... It appears gilt to my eyes, in these photos.

That is what I was after
do you think it was gold coloured lettering before it got wash and scraped and so on ??
I have a gilt Tudor 62' that is gold lettered

I thought that is what gilt means (gold letter) but have seen people call white lettered dials gilt.

No white lettered dials are gilt/gloss. So-called gilt dials merely show the base metal beneath, which is brass, and then have paint and lacquer applied. Some have silver lettering added on top of the lacquer, but the 'gilt' is the base plate.
