50th moon watch for my 50th

Been wanting to add a speedy to the collection for awhile. Turning 50 this summer and thought it’d be cool to have a 50th anniversary moonwatch for the occasion - but confused by all the ref numbers etc. I’m big wristed and would like the biggest face I can get. Is there a 44mm?

Any guidance appreciated.

to my knowledge there is not a 50th anniversary moonwatch in 44. There are several 44mm options for Speedmaster like the "Side of the Moon" ceramic pieces, as well as the 44mm Co-Axial speedmaster pieces. Speedmaster Racing and moon phase pieces are also 44mm.

As of now, no 44mm Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Speedmaster has been announced. There has been the the release of the 42mm full gold anniversary model, and it is conjectured that a 42mm two-tone will be announced at an Omega event in May, but there are no firm details or images available yet.

You might like to consider a genuine 1969 vintage Speedmaster Professional, but again, only in 42mm.

Omega boutique has started taking deposit for the stainless steel version, which will be announced on 5/15. I believe it costs $9650 USD

I hadn't heard of the grey dial, but I had heard two tone, gold bezel - 7xxx pieces. Looking forward to seeing it.

It is supposed to be 3861 movement. If you are thinking about the caliber 321, that's supposed to be another watch from what the boutique told me. They are not taking order for that watch yet, but you can put yourself on wait list.

I have a deposit down for the SS 50th Anniversary. There are a few threads on several forums with speculation on what to expect.

My AD confirmed that it will have gold accents on the case, 6969 pieces of which approximately 10% for the US, priced at $9,600.

I’ve got an unworn 44mm Co-Axial Speedy with the triple register and date. Ironically I picked it up from a dealer in Texas two years ago but it sits in my collection still unworn.
Will likely move it on shortly to help cover the cost of a recent addition.
It’s considered by many as a bit of a sleeper. It’s a beautiful watch, Ltd edition ceramic dial.

I am big wristed as well, and unfortunately, the 42mm Moonwatch wears small compared to my other 42mm watches. Usually I wear a 44 in general.
