Does this 5513 dial looked restored/refinished

I just picked up this watch and it looks so clean and the patina is not quite even. Does it look restored/refinished?

Thanks,

JG

Does the patina appear correct? Lighter on the longer hour markers at 12,3,6 and 9?

Help!

I'm not an expert, but it looks like a '63 to '66 gilt and should have a bit of glow when held under a bright light source then removed to dark. I would expect this glow to be faint but fairly consitant among the plots and hands if all original. The hands seem to match fairly well with the 3,6,9&12 markers. By the pics, it's hard to tell about the plots. Some better macro's would help.

Nice pickup, thanks for sharing and enjoy!

Welcome to the Forum!

Need better pictures. There is discoloration to some of the markers. Without a good picture, can't tell if the tritium is missing. The hands do not match the dial color, they appear to have been replaced at one point.

Are you asking if the dial is refinished? What is the partial serial number of the watch?

Thanks. Yes. I am asking if it has been refinished or the markers redone? The serial is 139xxxx. In what way do the hands not match the dial? In terms of color?

Thanks for your help!

Those crusty plots sure look like an old re-lume to me.....also looks like they used two different paint colors??
