That grey dial really looks like the same as the RG RC one, a real winner.

Still go back and forth whether to swap out the Ti tang buckle for a pink gold when I pick mine up.

Epitome of first world problems.

I think it looks good either way. I can't remember, did we discuss the cost of the pink gold buckle? How much we talking?

I believe it’s right around $2k. Definitely looks great as is - just wonder if it would give that extra special *pop*.

You get the call for yours yet? Looks like I can sneak out to Munich first week of November to finally grab mine. Pleasure delayed and all that lol.

Hmmm ... $2K was going to be my cutoff for if it is worth it or not. I'll see if my Sales Specialist can get me an exact number.

I think it would look great and definitely go with the theme. The pink gold plots would flow into the buckle nicely.

Unfortunately, no call yet ... maybe they are a little slow getting across the pond. Hopefully soon!

Looking forward to your incoming in 3-4 weeks!

He replied to me and said "just checked, it's almost $2,000". So you're right on the money.

Yes, it’s $2,004 including shipping but before tax. When I mentioned I was going to do this at the Paris boutique, I was advised not to change anything about this limited piece. I do think the RG buckle will be a beautiful subtle touch and wish AP had felt the same when they designed the watch, but maybe they wanted to distinguish it from the RG case version.

AP also will only sell the RG buckle for certain offshores and thankfully this is one of them.

I have managed to get into the list for this watch. One question, have any of you actually shipped this watch overseas from Germany? if yes, did you ends up paying the amount without VAT? thank you

haha yes sorry I mean other than you, because I believe you are considered a VIP so they are willing to do that for you, but for small time buyer like me Im still wondering if they are willing to do it or not. Because the boutique in Munich told me its quite difficult and a hassle for them to ship overseas.

I suspect they probably have a waiting list of people happy to come and collect and can absolutely do without the hassle, plus all the VAT export paperwork, as you suggest so it may be a challenge but certainly does no harm to ask!! Good luck!

Another update:
I was notified that my watch was in and ready to ship. However, I was having trouble getting an answer from the boutique on if I need to pay the VAT upfront or net on the watch. Also, how I would be refunded the VAT if it needed to be paid upfront. I now have all the information.

Here's how it works:
1) I had to send the boutique a copy of my passport as well as a credit card. They use the passport to verify as proof you reside outside Germany.
2) Once your watch arrives, they will need full payment amount, including VAT, bank transferred to them. For me, I had paid a 10k Euro deposit to secure the watch. I just transferred the remaining 23k Euro, which includes VAT, to the boutique.
3) Once they ship the watch, they refund the VAT amount onto the credit card you sent them images of (from step 1).

Because it's Friday and with the time differences, I'm expecting the boutique will verify my complete payment this coming Monday and they'll immediately ship the watch to me here in the US.

Hopefully, the above information is helpful to everyone waiting on their AP LE and were having the same problems as myself trying to understand how the process with payment and taxes work.

Awesome, congrats! Enjoy it, it’s a great watch! Here’s a quick pic of mine to further confirm you made the right decision...

RG one at USD225k is now off C24 and one of ceramics has seen its price lowered to a mere USD67k from the previous 90k.
