I also think the 36 is a much better fit for you.

Don’t get caught up on numbers, pay attention to aesthetics. The 36 looks like a 39 on most other wrists. It looks perfectly in proportion. Not even a question.

36. I don't the the colour combinations on the new ones (thought the double-limed 36mms are great).

Whose opinion matters more? The real life people and society around you or some anonymous online IDs? Or your own?

FWIW, I'm in the classic 36mm camp for your wrist size.

You like the looks of the 36mm better, I like the looks of the 36mm better, and the 36mm looks better on your wrist. It's an easy decision.

Vote for 36
For 39mm, personally prefer grey dial

Everything you’ve shown fits you GREAT and they’re all beautiful. I still love the blue 36 best on you but the good news is you can’t choose wrong : )

Get the one YOU like best!

Thank you all! Sound likes the OP36 easily wins the contest here. Yes I know that at the end of the day, it's still me who's gonna make the final decision. However, getting opinions from other people who also love watches in this great forum make the purchase much more special to me. Sometimes having the watch in the wrist is not the best part, talking and sharing about the hunt with other people who have the same hobby is better IMHO.

I love the 3 6 9 Arabic dial. Had one on my blue Air King.

Ok, as everyone has said the 36 looks great on you but so did that Blue and Grape OP 39. I thought I wanted the Blue OP 39, saw the Rhodium and changed my mind then got a deal on a new Grape that I stumbled on and couldn’t say no.

I’m gonna vote for 39 OP, color of your choice. Like the bigger size.

Another vote for 36mm here. It does not look too small on your wrist and I love the 369 dial.

I made the same choice :)

39 or DJ41...
36 is a much more limited market for resale should you need to
offload or upgrade at a later time...
plus it Looks great on you as well !!! Either way choose what’s
best for you ...?

For what it’s worth, I think 36mm wins hands-down. The proportions of the case, bracelet and bezel are just so right.

Help me decide between OP36 vs 39

OP 36 MM is THE ONE; here's mine on mercedes hands and super jubilee for a more dressy look

I think 36 looks a little better on your wrist, but 39 doesn’t look bad if you favor that one.

I will go against the trend and tell you that I prefer the 39 mm better. Both fit but the 39 has more of a modern look based on size and dial. That could be good or bad depending on what you want. The real winner is the DJ41. Skip the in between watch and just get it and take it off the table and enjoy it for years.

I agree with the others in that the 36 is the winner.
I may get one myself one day.

I think the 36 looks best on you, but I wouldn’t fault you for going 39
