SOI for divers watches

After chatting with my watch maker friend we entered into a conversation in regards to what is the service-oriented integration for divers watches

I expressed my knowledge was very limited and ask that he gave me time to read up further on the subject so that we could reconvene at a later date and discuss the matter having a better understanding, so if possible could I have some direction as a good information source on the subject prior to searching the net, many thanks "H"

doh I called my watch maker friend for clarification of SOI ? the correction is ISO.... watchmaking standards (NIHS, CEN, ISO) divers watch is iso 6425.... in my defense I'm Dyslexic so apologies for the confusion caused. "talk to me patiently, I'll try to learn all I can...."
