41mm Explorer 1 on Oysterflex. I'd be sprinting to the AD.

My predictions are:

1- New GMT. Coke hopefully.
2- Explorer Ceramic bezel
3- A new line of "heritage" watches, such as an heritage sub... so not exactly a new line per say, but you guys know what I mean. I have seen this trend a lot lately, and I have the feeling it appeals to millennials which is probably why a lot of hi-end watch companies are doing it...

I'll toss my hat into the ceramic bezel Explorer II corner as well. It's the only professional SS model I've seen in the last 3 AD's I've gone into, so it could probably use a refresh. I hope they keep the orange GMT hand, but drop it to the size of previous model. The massive GMT hand combined with the floating hour/minute hands on the black-faced model really hurts legibility.

I saw about 5 commercials for the BLRO while watching the golf tournament yesterday. I was confused, because I couldn't figure out why they were advertising it if it's been discontinued. They were also showing Daytona commercials, so maybe Rolex was just trolling everyone. Look at these watches you can't buy!

Oh man, that does hurt. I feel your pain. I have had a couple slip through my hands that I would like to permanently keep but now can no longer justify.

I lucked out on Snoopy big time. Being a life long peanuts fan I was crushed to find out I missed the boat on ordering a Snoopy as I had been off the forums for a while and not following Omega at all for about a year. I had Omega fatigue When I found out they were long sold out and being delivered I jumped on the forums. Found one on TZ under a week old for an inflated price. pm'd the guy and offered whatever he paid plus shipping. To me surprise, he replied sure. Called him and he had just bought a new Patek. His fiancée told him to pick one or the other. I picked up the snoopy for list + tax + shipping. Exactly what he paid for it from the Boston Boutique. He even sent me the original sales receipt. Watch was 6 days old and still had stickers on it. Once in a while I get lucky. No plans on selling this one.

Why am I getting this feeling we’re going to see a Coke GMT in Stainless Steel — on a super jubilee!?!

I'm not sure what it will be but I doubt it will be the predictable ones like coke or black/red GMT. I think Rolex likes to think outside the box and it will be something that no one's thinking of. (Like adding a cyclops to the SD43 last year)

Lots of predictions, as always, and lots of threads. With just a few days away, I’m confident in one watch coming out. The rest, I’ve no idea.

But I truly think a WG Coke GMT will be released. With the discontinued BLRO, it just makes sense. It will still be a huge seller and Rolex will make a fortune, with less work to put out tons of the watch in SS.

I thought it would be fun to have this thread as a reference for anyone that can go back and say “see, I got it right”.

The WG Coke is my prediction. What’s your?

Agree with you my friend!

I feel like a kid a Xmas.

Can’t wait to see what comes out.

My prediction from post #12 in this thread was correct:

I predict this thread will stay on the rails and offer some fun speculation.

Prediction

A Mid sized Blackbay. It just has to happen sometime soon to fill the gap.

Now this will be an awesome addition, should it happen.

I was sceptical about the womans/reduced sub suggestions, but then here in asia the sub is popular among the ladies. However the often petite women here want one but feel it is a bit large. I suspect a coloured bezel would also be popular as the 116610LV is often the asian ladies choice. Who knows.

New Coke GMT on a Jubilee
New Milgauss model with old ones discontinued
No more DSSD
SD50 discontinued, white text for the new version
DD40 dial options increased

Maybe a new model with the annual calendar function from the SkyDweller.

That would be great if it came out in PM

Coke GMT- it will be a big seller regardless if WG or SS. You can't compare to the BLRO sales because IMO the BLRO was a slow seller because the colors were not executed correctly. If I had found one that was red/blue I would have bought it. I looked at many in person and it always had a pink/purple hue.

From my forum reading it seems that this same Basel question/type of thread has already been frequently posted, possibly with different wording, and raising different models, as well as extensively discussed and answered.

While you may be very passionate about Rolex predictions, others might find a bit of fatigue in the repetition. Either way, we will certainly see what Rolex does.
Based on most of your previous posts this was a strange one from you...

This IS what we do here.
