Will 455 end links fit a 1675/3?

I know that 20mm 450 end links are the correct version for the 62523 h14 h18 bracelets but they are hard to find at a reasonable price. I might as well just get a full used bracelet! Just curious if anyone here has experience using the 20mm 455 end links on a 1675 GMT. I have an American made oval link 14K bracelet and the end links have no spring bar retaining tube so they rattle around. They are also a bit worn. It would be a franken hack but not sure I really care if they would actually fit. My gut says no as the 455s are for a smaller diameter case. Could a jeweler modify them to fit or would that just be stupid? Thank you in advance for any comments.

Hey Timelord2! To answer your question, my jubilee has 455s. Seem to work just fine. I'll swap out the oyster and post a picture so you can see the fit.

The 455s on my 62523H18 have a the slightest amount of jiggle compared to the 480s on my 92523.18 oyster (these endlinks are unmovable). With that being said the jiggle is miniscule and pretty much unnoticeable and I probably shouldn't even have mentioned it.

For reference, here are is the fit of both the 455 and 480. The 480s are snug as a bug, but the 455s have a little space although it is unnoticeable when wearing it.

Thanks for the comment and pics, much obliged! They can't be half as jiggly as the originals I have on mine now!

When I say a little jiggle, i really mean a little. Less than 1mm...probably more like 0.5mm.

They'll fit good and dandy. The retaining tube can be a bit tight though, so you might need to raid your spring bar collection for a slightly thinner/worn pair.
Ps thanks for you kind words a few days back.

455's are contoured for the DJ case, so will not be an exact fit against the contour of the GMT. This doesn't bother most folks who use DJ bracelets in place ot the correct one.

Thanks for the info Paul. And my pleasure, all true, you give excellent advice! Too many people want to be a di…sagreeable person these days and can't or won't admit fault. Sad really.

Thanks Larry, you too always provide great advice! As a matter of note, you were also the first person to comment on my very first post! I would like the correct version but can't see spending 2/3 the value of the bracelet on just the end links when in the end I really just want to get an oyster bracelet too. On another note, you bring up an interesting point. Is the DJ bracelet the exact same as the GMT aside from the end links and a different model number in the clasp?

Found a set of 450 end links on EBAY at a great price. Hopefully not counterfeit but even if they are they sure fit nicely on my well used American oval link bracelet! Pics for sure. Thanks for all the help gentlemen!

A bit of wear on those ovals, but the end links look good
