Oh, and I spotted a Nautilus as well.

Not a perfect analogy, but I felt like Steve Carrell in The Big Short when he's in Florida and exclaims, "yep, it's a bubble!".

Strangely I don't think I saw many nice watches other than Rolex. Didn't see any Cartiers or Omegas, for example. Speaking of Omega, it always surprises me how rarely I see Speedy Pros in the wild. In fact, I don't recall ever seeing one! For how popular they seem to be and how well Omega sells, it's always surprising. I've seen Seamasters and POs, though not on this trip.
Well with all the silly nicknames for Rolex watches lately they are becoming Micky Mouse watches so a good place to spot in Disneyland, and would expect many millions wear Rolex watches every day world wide.

I just came back from a week at Disneyworld. I saw about 10 Subs, a pair of Pepsi GMT II, and my first in the flesh Skydweller. Man that watch is impressive.

We visit WDW frequently and it’s one place I feel comfortable wearing a Nautilus or Daytona without having to think twice. I’ve gotten into some fun watch conversations in Club 33.

I just got back as well! Definitely saw several Rolexes, including a Yachtmaster Oysterflex, which looks pretty sharp. If you saw a man with a SD43 trying to keep tabs on his 4 girls, that was me! Lol!

Grand Cali is a really good choice for where to stay. It has a nice vibe and is nice for Park access for both Parks. Sometimes we stay at the Paradise Pier Hotel. Park access involves a little more walking. We will be in a suite there in about 6 weeks time. Later in the year we have a WDW holiday booked with a cruise on the Galactic Star Cruiser and then staying at the Contemporary Resort. We love Contemporary because it is a walk to the Magic Kingdom and you can watch the fireworks from your balcony. It has had a renovation recently too.

2 weeks this year at WDW staying on property. Watch spotting was fun. Have some good stories.

There were an awful lot on show at Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend too. Motor racing cars and Rolex - who would have thought?

I’m headed there this year not sure what to wear yet …

116618lb or 116508 Paul Newman dial I think ….

Maybe the ceramic bezel is a better idea

I always wear my speedy so I can time and repeatedly complain that the sign and the line wait didn't match.

Didn't spot any other Rolexes this weekend, though that might have been because I was paying more attention to mine than others.

See quite a few in Disney Japan as well. I mostly get my fill on the train. Always see at least one in my work commute.

All the nice watches must have migrated to the west coast. My recent trip to Universal in Orlando was a sea of Apple watches, with a few other smart watches and G-shocks thrown in for good measure. I could count the mechnical watches I saw on one hand that day. :(

I was in Orlando last week at Universal and saw a couple with a Platona and new Kermit. The lady was wearing the Platona. It the first one I’ve see in the wild. Saw 3 Kermits that day and no regular subs. Maybe it just sticks out more?

Looks like the guy in front doesn't want to be seen with his watch.....

I was definintely on the lookout for mechanical watches that day, particularly in the long lines for the rides. I didn't see a single Rolex. I would say of people wearing something on their wrists, 80%+ were Apple watches. I saw more G-Shocks than mechanicals that day. Maybe the folks wearing the nicer watches weren't on the rides? I dunno. I had my smiley BB red on that day.
