I bought a PloProf

Yep. Would have never thought id go for one but while i was getting a new clasp for one of my PO's installed at my OB i asked to play with the Plopof while i waited (this was a few weeks ago), and i couldnt get it out of my mind since.

New Titanium black dial black bezel. Such a cool piece. Pics to follow-shortly.

Very nice! One of my favourites with such a neat history. One of the ultimate dive watches. Enjoy in good health and keep the pictures coming.

Thanks! Definitely grabs you if you handle one.

What was a pleasant surprise was the "Kit" it comes with is also pretty sweet. Comes with an additional rubber strap, additional Titanium mesh bracelet "sections" which allow you to size the watch since there aren't any removable links in the mesh, as well as a nice solid OMEGA branded spring bar tool and about 4 extra spring bars. I think this is a great little package in addition to the awesome watch itself.

My Ploprof definitely gets more “Nice Watch” compliments than the Sky Dweller for some reason from average non watch folks.

Congrats I have the same one and dig it...and I totally forgot there's an extra rubber strap in the box...but I love that shark proof mesh...just so cool and way better than the mesh on the NTTD 007

I did manage to get 5% off which basically offset the sales tax here in the US. But I also have done a decent business with my OB, including recently.

Didn't hear about the steel ones. That's awesome!

Great watch, congratulations! I had the stainless version, which I loved but at the time I found it too heavy and just wasn't as comfortable as I wanted.

How's the comfort of the titanium version? And how's the bracelet? I read one person a few years back saying it was a little stiffer than the stainless mesh, you find it to be comfortable?

Thanks much! I find it very comfortable. I have a 6.75in wrist and it sits great. I can see how the mesh on Ti could be called stiff, but only really on the short piece, the medium section feels plenty pliable. I don't have a SS to compare, but I can imagine it's a little more "drapey" feeling. The weight is less than an omega smp 300 on bracelet.

Lastly, this watch feels smaller than it is due to the dial and bezel being smaller. The bezel insert is only 40mm wide and the dial is the same size as a 39mm Explorer. Feels much more proportionate than like a panerai which has a much bigger dial and thus feels much larger than this.
