Sounds like you’re upset because you got played. Now is the time to “get even” and turn the tables. Unload the Snoopy at 3x MSRP, covering the cost of your Sedna Speedmaster and call the OB to tell them thank you for the opportunity to get a Sedna Speedmaster basically for free. Then see whose cage is rattled, yours or theirs.

Unbelievable!!

… meaning that I don’t believe one word of this.
Sorry, but you either have no will power, or this is completely made up BS.

And if you really have no will power… you have bigger problem than a Sedna Omega.

1) You would not have been able to buy Snoopy without the Sedna.

2) Trying to sell the Sedna NOW will be brutal, if not a hard pass.

You might be able to trade it or just sit on it for better times to come around.

Relax, a lot of people would excited for that bundle. Selling both used would still keep you in the positive. Sleep it off and wake up with a pint half full attitude!

Sorry for your circumstance, and happy upcoming birthday.

Sounds like you got both?? Snoopy and Sedna Gold. That's quite a bit of coin! Esp. right now...

I think this is a lesson that playing the game (=buying something you DONT want, in order to get something you do) is just a bad idea. If you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes!

That anger will fester and ruin your experience with both watches. You want something that brings a smile to you whenever you look at it. I'd sell both and break even, you might even have a gain for that matter!

If you still really want a Speedmaster, then why not just get the classic Speedy Pro in steel??

Bundling is pretty common as long as you don't make a loss I would move on maybe next time you get a (slightly) better deal from the same shop.

I bought much worse bundles but gold Omegas aren't that easy to move.

Buyers remorse is usually associated with an impulse purchase.

This scenario seems to have been brewing for a while and the aim was always to have you purchase the Sedna along with the ‘Snoopy’.

At the end of this farce were you really forced to buy either of them?

The Sedna is a very nice watch but you have to want it.

Happy birthday on your day.

Indeed, OP post was very vague to say the least, I could neither confirm or deny that he actually got the Snoopy after buying the Sedna...

Like others, I'd rather have the Sedna Speedmaster than the Snoopy.

But since it sounds like you've soured on the whole bundle/boutique experience, I'd just sell both and move on.

Another new to the forum post that sounds fishy.

I call BS.

As someone that just paid the grey market price for a Snoopy - I would have gladly purchase the Sedna piece and the museum piece without any hesitation regrets or BS to get a Snoopy at retail.

No one forced you to do anything - you simply could have walked away.

This practice is getting more and more common. Even in the car world with Porsche and Ferrari. Evokes are really shitty experience/feeling when you’re just trying to buy a nice luxury item. Life is short. You said the Sedna makes you angry. Sell it. Forget it. Enjoy the snoopy. Again life is too short

One thing I don't get.

He pulls out the snoopy and makes you buy a 2nd watch. But you already paid for the snoopy?

Something is fishy about this story

I don't understand what OP's problem is.

1. He has no will power.
2. He got a Snoopy that he can sell for 3x.
3. Sedna Speedy may not be his watch but damn its a fine watch. He will take a loss in selling it but will still come ahead of buying Snoopy at gray prices.
4. People who cry foul over something like this are really a turn-off.

Maybe he should take it to social media and also post his sob story on Google reviews.

So true, there’s better and more interesting Speedmaster’s out there such as the stunning Moonphase model for example.

Now that you have gotten into the hobby enough to join the forums, you have the opportunity to get to know some of the trusted sellers here. I have made all of my purchases in recent years from them, and my purchasing experiences have all been pleasurable. In most cases I've gone from deciding I want to buy a particular watch to having it on my wrist in 24 hours. It's like buying a car through a buyers agent rather than going to a car dealership.

I think people just get hung up and subject themselves to torture because of MSRP, which is just a marketing number to get you to go to the dealer. Research the street value of the piece you want, go to a trusted seller and have them source it for you.

Is this the sedna speedy w/ green dial? Helluva watch... I'd take that over the snoopy in a NY second.

If you look at the poster’s history he cries about buyer’s remorse over an Explorer II. So if it isn’t a bs poster, its one who’s pretty cavalier with their money.

An AD/boutique sold you a Sedna speed master without box and papers and you agreed? Something isn’t adding up here .

That is strange. How could the box and papers be lost? Makes no sense.

Sure. Rattled.

Then they will hang-up, yawn, and brush the crumbs from their lunch into the wastepaper basket...next!
