Two RO in a month

I have been waiting for 15500.OR for about 12 months, last March i saw it sitting on the window display, deep down in my heart i know the watch wasn't for me.
I called my SA, and he said the watch is already sold, and just waiting the new owner to pick up. A few weeks later my SA called me he has incoming piece of 15500 but in steel or 26215.ST (sub blue dial) and he wasn't sure whether will get the OR or not because the 50th anniversary will replace it soon (i assume 15510) so i decided to get the 15500.ST and it become my daily watch. Four weeks later he texted me 15500.OR is in the boutique, i was so happy and got it on the next day

He told me he receive 2 pieces of 15500.OR and a piece of 15500.ST white dial, i guess AP wants to drain up this reference before the 50th anniversary launch.

i got the newly design box for the OR, but i like the old model

Why does everyone ask this?

It's not like buying a 1k omega seamaster bracelet after the fact, when it should have just been bought on the bracelet initially for a small upcharge.

This is a 25k bracelet instead of 20k upcharge initially. This is very different than 'you should have bought on the bracelet'.

Because the full RG bracelet is amazing! And as much as the attention is placed on the octagonal case itself, the charm of the RO is in the bracelet. I understand that OP has a SS RO in hand. Just wondering if he’s going to get the RG bracelet as well.

Most brands make good leather straps. But only AP makes the best bracelet in the business. That’s why the question gets asked a lot.

Not sure if your prices are correct, but the incremental $5k cost can easily be explained by the value of the leather band that one would get if purchasing the gold band later..
