Service dial and hands 1675 worth the price?

Hello guys,
I have bought a 1675 with tritium service dial and hands, I think the dial refers to MK6 right? I paid around 12000 US, is it worth the price?

How can one answer your question without macros from the case, movement, bracelet and so forth?

Edited: Not to mention bezel/insert

Nothing wrong with service parts if they have been used to replace damaged or unusable parts.

What is paid is a matter of region and personal satisfaction with the deal.

If it has service dial, hands and probably the insert - $12,000 is reasonable if the case is decent.

If your GMT 1675 is circa late 1960s, Mark VI as well as Mark V can be found on those years as service dials.

Refurbished vintage watches with service parts have become quite popular of late. Enjoy the watch.

The bezel shows a little faded and the bracelet was the original 7368 without bracelet code which is right.

Thank you for the infos, would you mind tell me if mine is Mark6 or Mark 5? It’s a 1675 from the year of 1967 I think.

Hello, I purchased it in Canada cause by importing the one from the US is too much, 1675 is rare to find here in Canada.

The dial is a regular tritium service dial, along with service hands and a service bezel insert. The parts were probably changed during 1980s or 1990s.

Very much a matter of personal taste. But that watch has service dial, hands, and insert. At auction, I have seen these going for $9k-$10k recently. If you bought from a dealer, serviced, with warranty, then the price may not be too outrageous. Although for me, if I’m going to pay that much, I’d rather pay up for something that will be collectible.

Yes I bought it from a dealer and has been serviced but since I live in Canada so that although there are better options in the US, with the import tax, I have to seek for the ones from Canada only.

Nice dial with patina. You could probably find a period correct dial for 2-3k US and sell that one. Either way I don't think you could find one like yours for much less than 12k.
Cheers!

Wherever you live, it’s “fast, correct, cheap … choose two out of three”. Sounds like you already have your answers. Enjoy!

Might be closer to 5-6k tbh. Would need long E zinc sulfide dial & hands.

I will keep the watch and I felt good with this service tritium dial since it has a nice patina like original does. I checked the period correct dial which is long E dial is around 3.5k. Maybe i should grab one for further sale, but personally I don’t really care as long as the price reflects it.

£10-12k watch imho as dial is a nice tritium service - not one of those terrible (post 2001) slightly bluey lume plot 'swiss' dial.

Exactly, the tritium dial is way better than those newer version dial, at least looks vintage.
