There are old Precision models from the 40-70's that look like this- very hard to authenticate with this pic. Get a pic of the movement.

The information I am getting is that she's had it since the 60s or 70s, so that fits the story.
No box. No papers. No service history.
Assuming it's real, what do they run value wise.
Apologies if I am not allowed to ask a value question.

Very hard to say about value. There is foxing on the dial which may indicate water intrusion. If water has made it to the movement then it would be a very costly repair. Most of the watches value will be if its running, its condition and precious metal content.

You can go on eBay and in the advance search, you can pull up sold listings. Just search for "Rolex gold precision" and see if any pop up that are similar which will give you a good idea of the current market value.

When you pop off the case back, you will be able to see if there is any rust of the movement and the inside of the case back will tell you the gold content. Gold filled, 9ct, 14ct, 18ct, etc. This makes a huge different in value.

Typical dress watch from the 60s or 70's, as you state. Dial shows aging that one would expect to see.

Could be 9k gold. Values are not high but can be found on many places on the Internet for like examples. Not everything Rolex is highly desirable.

Numbers will be stamped on the back or inside the case back.

Did you mean 1K, not 9K?

9 Karat gold case, which was common back then.

I've seen valuations of high quality versions in the 3-4K range- hard to say with this one- as someone mentioned, it definitely looks like there's been water under the crystal- and that could significantly affect the movement.
