My first good watch with a tang buckle. Scary, especially with new (stiff) leather strap.
It feels great on the wrist but does wear "larger" than the 5146.
Great watch!

Yes, you should move the hands to 6:30am (after the date has changed) then go ahead and adjust date and moon. That's good advice generally, and it holds for the model we have.

Thanks; same thing my SA said. Did you receive the "owners manual" flash drive? What does that plug into?
The watch is most impressive, especially the power reserve.

Sorry, I missed this until now. Thanks; that seems to be the consensus. The odd looking "owner's manual" data card still has me puzzled though. Not sure what it plugs into.

It’s just an unconventional looking usb stick. Give it a try

Journe often goes to great lengths to make his watch movements protected from the damage of setting at inconvenient times. Though I do not have the specifics on your model, the grand petit sonnerie is fully protected from accidental damage when setting the time. This is an amazing accomplishment by an amazing watchmaker

Works! Appears to be the same info available on their web site. Certainly no warnings about no-no times for making adjustments, unlike Patek.
Thanks - now I can store the box.
Very nice watch.

Without a doubt. I just don’t see the appeal of that particular Patek, which is typical of the generic-looking stuff they’ve been putting out ever since Thierry took over and put his wife in charge of the design department.
