312. The others are phenomenal, I just don't like the PR meter on the dial.

312 for me - much prefer the cleaner looking dial.

But I wouldn't refuse if someone gave me either a 233 or a 270 :-)

Ironically, or maybe not so much, the 312 just does it. If I were an Executive at Panerai, I would have to at least start considering if the 312 was cannibalizing flagship sales. I mean really, there is so much the 312 has to offer for the brand....and in only one watch!

I thought I LOVED the 312....until I got the 233. The 233 still blows me away.

The 233 and 270 is very nice, but I prefer the non-domed crystal... somehow I don't really like it. :)

No bad choice, but I'd go for the 270 in a heartbeat.

X2 - but 270 costs almost double of 312 - I'm still saving for it.
One question: Do we really need 10 days power reserve for automatic watch?

It's not an automatic watch. You wind it and it lasts 10 days.

I'm pretty sure 270 is automatic, 233 is not.

I think that is what they are hoping happens. I mean, they needed in-house movements and as they control every aspect of the watch now, more money to be made.

312 for me, although I wouldn't turn down any of them! I just prefer the simplicity of the dial on the 312.

270 is a great watch, but the 312 is the best value watch of the 3. Besides the domed crystal doesn't do much for me unlike some others.

At first, I liked the 312 (still do)... but now I'm warming up to the 233 and 270. The superdome makes the dial appear smaller when on the wrist.

You have the sickness, Joey. Just take your time with the choice. I almost flipped my 312 for a 233 and am glad I kept mine. I do love it so....

Love the dome!

I voted 233, and I also voted with my wallet and bought one.

The dome looks beautiful in real life, and animates the dial.

I wanted the 270, as I do think a 10 day reserve does make sense on an automatic. You wear it for the weekend, and put it in the safe. Still ticking when you pull it out next weekend, and winds back up. However, it's all about proportion, and that's a personal choice. The addition of the rotor made the body just a little too thick on my wrist. The same applies more so to the 312 and it's cousins. Just take a look at profile views.

Now I've learnt to enjoy winding the fang up to the top.

It's all personal.
