What's your most rewarding hobby?
What's your most rewarding hobby in term money spent and happiness returned? And your least rewarding hobby?
For me the most rewarding hobby is bicycling, to me it's the best, it took me to see the world, see different people, cultures, feel the thrill of downhilling, the pain when climb up the big mountains, sense of peace and happiness and see that life can be just so simple. It's also the least expensive hobby, the bike in pic cost me $3000+ and I still ride it after 20 years. And the least rewarding hobby is...collecting watches as it's expensive and does almost nothing. You feel good getting a watch but it's kind of empty and I see that also it brings out the greed in people. |

Running (trailrunning, marathon and soon ultra marathon), it is when I feel the most alive and sometimes most dreadful. Runners high is a thing.
It doesn't cost a lot and I wouldn't want to give it up for anything. |

Scuba diving because it also involves traveling to some out of the way places. I also enjoy taking pics of critters but I need some practice.

Flying! It is a little on the expensive side, but so much fun. It is also very relaxing. The freedom you have when you own your own plane is just indescribable. I also really enjoy golf and working out.

Taking my R2-D2 to charity events. That is me with the pink hanky in my suit breast pocket, controlling R2.
Both kids and adults love R2! |

I like to bowl.
673 series (224 average) yesterday, after coming back from a long bout with the flu and other ailments.

Golf, such a hard game and one that no matter how much you practice or how good you get at it...you can always get better and things always seem to change. Also good for travel to play different courses. Each round is a little different and the game is always evolving. Somewhat of an expensive hobby if you play a lot. Really expensive if you change clubs regularly.
LOL, least rewarding is my Scotty Cameron putter collection....just means I got frustrated enough on the greens to try and buy a putting stroke by buying more putters.

Cycling but I don't consider it a hobby. I am a cyclist so it is life.
Maybe wrenching on my own and friends bikes, I was a professional bicycle mechanic for years. I really like lacing my own wheels and building them from scratch. Rebuilding and restoring vintage British motorcycles kept me busy for a while also. It was pretty cool that a bike I rebuilt won the local custom car show the year I entered it. Ripping down the highway on a motorcycle I rebuilt was a neat feeling. Except for the initial shake down run when I started to wonder if I tightened everything up. haha. |

Biking - both road and mountain.
Cheap therapy over the years.

Playing ice hockey is my most rewarding. Running 5ks is rewarding as I typically do well either winning my age group or races but it is also my least rewarding because I HATE running. That's how I got fast, wanting it to be over sooner lol.

I guess mountain biking as I have seen some amazing things in the woods that would be impossible if I were just hiking.
Plus it’s a blast hauling a** on the trails. Number 2 would be target shooting. It’s very relaxing once you get in a rhythm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
