Vegas Suggestions
We will be in Vegas mid may, staying at Bellagio. We usually are there 2x a year. Anyone have any suggestions for great restaurants or other things to do.I feel like we know Vegas pretty well but I'm sure with this amazing group there are things and restaurants we are missing. We usually have dinner at the wynn , SW, Michael Mina at Bellagio, Gordon Ramsey steak . Etc
Any other great restaurants or hidden gems of things to do? Thanks! |

You like pizza? Downtown Old LV has The Pizza Rock near the Golden Nugget. All kinds and styles of pizza. Pretty good stuff

An off strip place, Eatt, on Sahara is the best restaurant in Las Vegas. Also, Flock and Fowl is excellent as is District One.

I'm going out to Vegas for my bachelor party this weekend. We are planning on the Wynn SW steakhouse which is incredible. Wynn country club is also great. A real off the strip gem is Lotus of Siam, a Thai restaurant with a massive menu and interesting Northern Thai dishes I've not seen elsewhere.

EDIT: Just noticed your trip has passed. But hopefully another Vegas newbie can benefit from this advice.
Prime at Bellagio is great for steaks (authentic Wagu, not American WAGU, if you're feeling extra spendy), Yellowtail for sushi, LAGO for italian and fish. "O" at Bellagio is a must do at least once. Try to avoid getting too high of seats because you can see the divers and it kind of ruins the magic. Also, it seems cheesy but go to the top of the Eiffel Tower right after sunset (around 8:30pm right now) to watch the Fountain Show and see the strip from above. Stick around until 9pm to watch the Mirage Volcano show go off from above also. |

Aburiya Raku for an expansive Japanese menu, especially if you like to do really late dinners. Plenty of great Asian options on Spring Mountain Road, if you're interested in going off Strip.
Cautionary note about Carnegie Deli at The Mirage is their pastrami can be pretty dry compared to Katz Deli (NYC).

Secret pizza in Cosmo is good, not a sit down place but amazing pizza by the slice. There is no sign and it’s not listed on the directory but is on the 3rd floor look for the hallway with old record labels on the walls (and usually a line up!)
