233 looks better

I vote 233.

312 is nice, but 233 rocks.

If you have the cash for the 233... Get the 312 and put the extra cash towards the 382:)

312 for sure.. if the cash wont be a problem i would still go for a 312.
A Panerai for me gotta be clean and simple. If i need 10 days PR and GMT ect... I would go for JLC, AP or other makers.

312 would win with 312 votes against... guess the rest :D

Lovely as the 233 is, I don't like the linear power reserve meter. A circular dial would be much nicer imho...

Tommysol - add a poll to this thread, so it will be easy to see the outcome.

Cheers
X2

For some reason I don't much care for the linear power reserve indicator either.

That goes for me as well, if only I could have afforded the difference.

Both excellent watches but the 233 with the 8 days manual wind mvt and domed crystal cant be beat! For the money the 312 is a great buy....

312 for me. I love the simplicity of the dial, I love the "9" and I think that 233 dial is too busy. Having said that, I have to note that a more fair comparison would have been 320 vs 233 as both are GMTs, but even in that case I would vote for 320.
