Franck Muller
Been trying to branch out from Rolex lately and recently checked out some Franck Muller's at a local AD. I personally don't have much knowledge on these time pieces, they seem to run on ETA movements. What's the general consensus on these watches? I seldom see them up for sale on the forum and wondering if they are worth the money?

Personally I would not buy one.
Many other choices out there IMHO. |

I had 2. The 58880C anniversary and the Jumping Hours Colour. The latter from a novelty perspective. I actually found them relatively easy to sell (in the USA) but would I buy another? No!! Too many good watches out there

If you buy one buy it used. They lose a lot of money once used.

Not something I would personally buy for different reasons, if you like them a lot why not, but seems that's not the case, there are much more interesting brands

Thanks for your replies. If I did purchase, it would definitely be pre owned. Seems to be decent deals in the pre owned market.

Without having looked too deeply into it, they seem to have among the worst value retention of modern brands. So yes, go pre-owned and you should be in a much better place.

IMO there are far too many brands to try first.

I believe they have not been made by watchmaker Franck Muller in quite awhile. I have two of his watches from the early 90s when he was in charge. I visited his studio at that time and was so impressed I purchased two, one in WG and one in platinum.

I really doubt if its ETA should be manufacture movement.
