CHNR review

After owning for a week, wanted to share my perspective on this reference. First of all, my collection consists of predominantly SS Rolex watches, a couple of all all gold(WG, YG), a couple of TT so this is my first experience with RG. It is truly unique. The color sparks thoughts of Michael Kors with the copper tone. The RG has a clean but muted brilliance but can blend with SS and create a stealth to it that never occurs with YG. It is a warm formof gold but when shining in sunlight it dazzles. I love the natural earth tones of it. It wears smaller than the sub but is equally comfortable. I really like the black dial and RG hands, a great match. I feel this watch is the unicorn in my collection due to it’s unique tone. I highly recommend you guys try one on.

Looks beautiful. I've been on six list for the last 3 months and can't find one at retail . Hopefully sometime soon I'll be able to join the club with you.

Great experience and agree it is a bit of a unicorn. Just took delivery of mine yesterday and while I'm usually not a two-tone guy, this combination really is incredible! And yes you really need to see it in person as pictures just don't do it justice.

Congrats, I love my full gold version.
I find that in all the Rolex sports watches I have had, this is right up there as a favorite.
Plus these colors w/ the rose gold really dresses up nicely!
Plus it dresses down too. Rolex's beautiful rose gold is not as loud as YG and has a quiet elegance that goes great with the GMT.
One of Rolex's best releases in recent years IMO (both TT and Full Rose)

Sweeet. This changes all unsure and negative feelings towards a PM sports model for me. I'd really like to see one in person.

Considering how high the taxes in California, should be able to find one about retail or close to it for sure.

Been looking for one in Houston but come up dry. I'm on 2 waiting lists; pretty sure they threw that post it to the trash as soon as I walked out though.

Thanks for your opinions.
The tones of the RG do need to be seen first hand to really be appreciated.

The two-tone Root Bear is by far my favorite of all two-tone watches. Used to be the 116613 Bluesy because I'm a sucker for blue dials but there's something about the contrast on the CHNR that draws you into it

CHNR is a keeper and I think in the long term, more of a sustainably classic piece than the Pepsi jubilee.

Sorry OP but I have to ask — did you take that photo while driving??
