Geez, been away for a while only to come back to this. Kind of takes all the fun out of being here again knowing such a great guy has been taken from us so young.

Hardly logged on to the forum these days. This is a sad piece of news to me.
I had the privilege to meet this great gentleman in 2009 when I was commutung between Singapore and NZ frequently. He had often on my request, took me around Auckland to shop for my first Rolex - a GMT II. This will be the watch I will never sell.
Looking back, time flies. I still have his messages in my rolexforum INbox to remind me of the good times. I think I have learn something from you.

Yes, he is still a prominent figure on this Forum.. and will always be remembered, Im sure, by those who knew him and know of him...

I apologize for being totally oblivious to what had happened, as I was not active in this forum from 2010 till 2012. I am such a fool.

I have neither met nor communicated with JJ prior. But these few days i had been reading a lot of his post. With great sadness.

He is such an inspirational character.
He has inspired me to be a better man.

May god bless his soul.
