Yes, thats the part everyone is not noticing. I said this over and over again. The 37 case may wear bigger but the dial is so tiny it doesnt look bigger at all. No where close to a pre-ceramic,exp1 or daytona but realy a lot smaller. Close-ups arent worth anything. Take a mirror shot with short sleeves and forearm to see how small the 15450 actualy looks.

Nothing wrong with the 15450 ofcource but you need real slim wrists for it. <6,25 and it will look great. But if bigger you should be looking at a 15300/15202/15400/500

It’s individual preference, but the 15450 looked fine on my 6.75” wrist. I prefer and chose the 15202, but the 15450 looks great on most wrists.

Not realy. I have 7+ wrists and prefer normal/smaller size watches. Exp1 39, Pre-ceramic subs, ceramic daytona, Lange 1, Patek 5396. They all are on the smaller side but they are the perfect size for me.

The 15450 however was way to small for me and felt like i was wearing my wifes watch. I bought the 15450 thinking it would wear like a Daytona and had to get the 15400 afterworths. I can pull the 15400 size but only with short sleeves. Still have the 15450 in my safe to flip some day.

A picture says more than a thousand words. The 15450 is fine for slim wrists but its small and wears (to) small on an average size wrist. Individual preference for smaller or bigger watches has not much to do with it.

Sub 6.5in wrist. I think it is perfect for me. Bottom line, it all depends on shape and size of wrist. Not all 6.5-7in wrist are the same. Try it out for yourself before you read internet “experts” opinions

Is this a too small picture? Proportions look flawless in this picture. Like perfect.

Posted this in the other thread as well, but for those who might be curious, here is the fit of the 15300 vs the 15450 on a 6.25” wrist (notice the lug overhang). The 15450 is a perfect fit for smaller wrists IMO

While I agree that the 41” Royal Oaks look too large on very small wrists (in my opinion) , I think the concern over lug overhang and lug gap can be a bit overblown. Due to the lug flare and lack of micro adjustments, Royal Oaks are not often the best fitting watch in a WIS’s collection.

But they still look marvelous.

i often feel my 15400 is too big (white dial too) on my 6.5 inch wrist. the 15450 looks incredible in these photos. i can see that for some it might just be too small though and i think that will vary from wrist to wrist and won't necessarily correlate to wrist size but perhaps wrist shape.

so for example i'd expect 6.5 inch wrist but v flat to maybe not be happy with 15450. but i'm not super flat so i think it might work for me.

The 450 is a size enigma by itself. It wears big for a 37 but it does not look big side by side to a DD36, as seen in the OP’s picture.

Here’s mine.

With all the included links fitted, it is an exact fit on my 6.5” wrist. I may even need to buy one more link.

You have to see it in the metal. I was going back and forth too with the forum comments that it is too small but when I came across the opportunity to try it on, I pulled the trigger.

Funny you think it looks perfect. For me it felt im wearing my wife's watch.

Im not in to big watches. I love my daytona, exp39,blro etc. All mid-size watches and i never question the size. Even a DJ 36 looks ok on my 7+. The 15450 is a realy strange watch do sizewise.

I think its because the royal oak is designed to be/look bigger and bolder while the 37mm gives it a more refined look. Guess its all about proportions.

I have the 15400 now. It wears big all right but manageable:

Here's the 450 on another 7 1/8 inch wrist.

I tried to take the photos from a distance to get a more accurate perspective.

Ghost for comparison. Loved it.

Looking at some of those white dials I may have to reconsider looking for a white dial AP instead of the hard to get blue dial. I thought it may look to dressy but seems to be okay in a casual setting.

amen. I've always said individual preference has nothing to do with what watches we like to wear. lord knows I'll only wear a watch if someone authoritative-sounding on this forum tells me it's the correct one.

This one was my choice from the 37mm line. The extra depth on the dial from being skeletonized makes it wear/appear just a tad bit larger. Very happy with it.

The 15450 is a female's watch, one can actually tell from the pictures posted on this thread.

^ by that principle, the Paul Newman Daytona must also be a ladies watch as well
