JJ Irani

I received an email from JJ's grandaughter this morning.
JJ was admitted to Auckland Hospital on New Years Day and has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The cancer is in an advanced stage and JJ has not much time left.
I spoke to JJ at Auckland Hospital this morning and he asked me give his love to all of you.
Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Eddie.

I am devastated and in shock.

I was under the impression that he was getting better and test results were good.

I'm so ashamed for my attempt to humor the situation the other day and beg your forgiveness.

My thoughts and prayers are with you JJ.

The watch community will not be the same without JJ. I suggest we spend the rest of the time we have with him, letting him know that.

I highly doubt JJ being who he is would condone your "wish". I think your the bigger fool for bringing it up.

this certainly was not the prognosis we were all hoping to hear. truly devastating to hear and an unfortunate setback indeed.

like many others here, I thoroughly enjoyed his very interesting perspective and dialogue regarding anything Rolex. his ongoing presence will be sorely missed.

deepest prayers and best wishes go out to JJ and his family during this difficult time.

BEST REGARDS
