JJ-took the time to explain to me how to keep my clasps scuff free via skype. He was the reason I kept coming back to this forum. I will miss his sense of humor and rolex knowledge.

Can't put it all in words......When I was a lurker and searching for information on Rolex, JJ had so much influence on me. After joining TRF to ask a question, he was one of the first to respond. His response was kind and his knowlege was very helpful. JJ showed me that being an active member in a forum was something I could do and enjoy. All of you...are why he chose to spend his time here!!

Cheers to JJ and TRF

I have never met the guy, however, I got to know JJ from his posts here on TRF. As everyone already said and will continue to say, he was a funny bloke, always helped people and his love for Rolex watches is second to none.

Rest in peace JJ as you will definately be missed and my condonlences to the Irani family.

It was always JJ's sense of humor, quips, and comebacks that I will remember most about him. His extensive knowledge of Rolex watches was most impressive and his help to newbies were always appreciated. A gentleman and a scholar.

Prayers to the Irani family.

RIP, sir JJ.

I remember first joining the forums and I showed my wife the picture of JJ in his avatar, and I said, "Check out this guy, he looks like Kojak"....I soon found out that he was a guy who just didn't comment on threads, but a guy who mostly started the threads. He would ask us questions and discuss things about styles, sizes, shapes, colors, bracelets, weights, flipping, pricing, decisions the company would make, and EVERYTHING else about Rolex. He was truly interested in starting a conversation with us, his internet friends, and he helped anyone he could who had questions. I loved his sense of humor and his positive attitude during these last several months was very honorable. JJ's one of those guys you're glad you had the chance to talk to, even if it was between computer connections. I am very sorry for his family. Thanks JJ, may you rest in peace.

As somewhat of a "newbe" to this Forum, I feel like I missed the chance to get to know a very good-hearted person. After reading what has been said here, I always question the Creator, "why?".....but I have learned that it is not our place to question; rather to be thankful for the time he was with us.....rest in peace.....

JJ touched many people here. I always enjoyed his posts, his passion for his Rolex watches. I was saddened when i found out he was ill and again saddened when he had to sell his Rolexes which were his pride and joy. He had a great sense of humor. I will miss him and pray that when he entered heaven, friends and family that passed before him were there to make him feel happy and welcome.

JJ was how I found this site, I was researching a purchase, a 16613 Blue, I did a google search and saw about 10,000 posts about JJ's "Bluesy" and reading his posts I got hooked, not just on the watch but on him and on this site. I'm wearing my 16613 now in his honor, God Speed JJ, you are already missed!

I will miss JJ. He once refered to me as a "tosser in training" he later told me he gave up talking about the tosser stuff in a private message. It was an honor to have talked with him on the fourm and he felt like a friend to me even though we never knew each other outside the fourms about rolex watches. He will be missed by me.

PS: some of you may not know about the whole tosser thing. It was a joke of sorts all in good fun about people here on the fourm and to be called a tosser by JJ was to be acknowledged or at least to me thats what it meant.

I really can't believe it is true.

This pearl in rolex forum died?

Unfortunately I didn't talked to him, but read a lot of stuff he wrote, he is a reference in the rolex world, long live to him in the lodge above.

Rest in peace.

Max

There are those rare times with a person comes along that transends boundaries.

JJ was such a person. His wit and wisdom will be sorely missed. His enthusiasm, not only for all things Rolex, but for the people that make up this hobby knew no bounds.

That he touched each of us in some small way is a gift we will always cherish.

Right now he's got all the Angels laughing.

One of the first guys to welcome me to this forum. Not only very helpful but a great sense of humor. Who else could get away with the license plate that read GR8JJ?

Read the title and firsts 2 posts.

RIP JJ. You were one of a kind and we all will miss you.
