I don't think I've yet came across this item. Good to know, thanks.

I have heard they have been experiencing problems with their MTO program in regards to delivery times, and quality control recently. This is just MTO and not RTW. I hope they sort it out soon.

I'll weigh in I have about 10 or more pair of Churchs. A few Aussie boots and a few Bally and Magli's thrown in. Sorry the photo quality is not great on my old iphone, the brogues are good for a laugh and the mustard colour ones are custom made Hippo skin Church's. No I did not order them new they are vintage and very cool.

The other brown brogues are Floris Van Bommel from the Netherlands a small bootmaker dating back over 200 years every bit as lovely as Church's and others.

Thanks for sharing.

It looks like a very nice collection of shoes.

It's too bad the photo isn't just a bit better.

No one with Shell Cordovan shoes or boots? Or is that never used in British shoes?

Shell is used in British shoes. I have a couple of Crockett and Jones in shell.

The Marlow Wingtip and the Lindrick.

Actually, I will be picking up a pair of those Daltons in shell when the A&E Trunk Show sale hits in October.

Not to venture from the British made focus, but blue suede shoes are right up my alley...

Here are my AE Spiaggia's which I happen to be wearing today.

Extremely comfortable and also on sale right now.

Alfred Sargent Moore in Cherry on the 724 Last

Even better than usual as A Fine Pair of Shoes currently has these on sale.

Reg £393.00 Sale £300.00 (Ex.VAT: £250.00)

By the way these pictures from their website really don't do the shoe much justice, they look alot better than depicted here.

I've been on a bit of a Alfred Sargent kick lately. However here is a pair of boots that I knew I wanted when I first saw them over 6 months ago. The fact that they used Cognac Shell and a Pebble Shaft didn't hurt either. So when I had the chance to get a pair of these Alfred Sargent Millers I jumped at the chance.

My latest, C&J - Highbury - the ones Daniel Craig wears in Skyfall (I didn't know this until after I bought them).

They are so comfortable to walk in I will probably get another two pairs.

Very sharp, I also like how these come with the Dainite sole.

Very nice! and they seem to be quite reasonably priced.

Ahh good call on the VB's. I almost bought a pair of their boat shoes last year but decided in the end there was plenty of life left in my Timberlands. Might get me a pair sometime though. Do you have any experience with Dinkelacker at all?

Was simply stating that Loake also make shoes in India, as i know people have bought Loake thinking they were UK made only to find out the particular shoe they had was Indian made, hence why i said the knowledgeable part

Yes, sorry, got ya, I wasn't one of the "knowledgeable one's" but have just gone and read up, apparently the premium shoes are made in Kettering, so perhaps I was lucky that they were the one's I liked.

To be honest i only knew 'some' models were made abroad & had no idea if yours was or wasn't but was glad to see that they were indeed made here in the UK

For the record here's my shoe of choice:

That's a great price, and if it's good enough for Bond it must surely be good enough for us.

The shoe trees I got recently are not so fancy, 6 quid and I think I'll need a new pair within a year, but I'll get some proper ones then.
