26331ST dressy vs. casual

since i've yet to actually see one in person yet, wondering if those who own one can comment on how the steel chrono works as a more casual jeans and t-shirt kinda watch? i know it can swing from sporty to dressy for sure, but wondering how well it really dresses down? i know it's not really an "under the radar" piece, but talk to me about the "bling factor" and if there is an understated side of the watch? i know it's all relative and certainly is toned down compared to PM pieces, but does it scream at you when you walk into a room or does it hang back a bit? anyway, just curious and always appreciate the insight of those with direct experience.

There's nothing understated about an AP on the bracelet. Other customers in ADs usually ask me about it when I wear it in.

There is a definitely a shiny blingy factor to the bracelet and finishing of the watch. It catches light and just shines and really is a beautiful thing. With that being said, a michael kors watch can also shine and bling and most people have no clue what an AP is. I wear mine with t shirt and shorts all the time.

I agree with CoveWatch, its not understated but can be worn either casual or more formal. For me its always casual!

I think “understated” varies from person to person but there is a bit a bling factor on the watch just given how highly brushed and polished it is (both of which are hardly a bad thing!)

For what it’s worth, I regularly wear it with my suit and then dress down to a t shirt and shorts at night and on weekends I love both looks. Have never had the slightest thought that it was too much for my casual outfits

It will only scream in a room full of WIS, otherwise, you can go about your business without anyone noticing.....or maybe a person or two because it is that beautiful. It will appeal even to those who don't know AP. I think 26331st is best worn with jeans or shorts.

Both, it's a dressy sports piece.
