So he offered to replace the clasp, then offered to take back the whole bracelet when you asked? Seems like a reasonable email response to me. Where's the 'aggressive' and 'ugly' parts?

Hmmm. I really like my Uncle Seiko president. The clasp is old school stamped vs machined for sure. The solid end links (and all bracelet links) and their finish are as good as Omegas OEM bracelets. For $129 I'm stoked about it.

He respond he doesn't sell defective product after offering replacement? my watch was dropped on hard floor 2 times bc the poor quality bracelet he sold to me, Now he is saying " something is going on"? what's going on do you think? why putting "no questions to ask" on his website and then started asking me to prove by pictures and at least 10 questions after. how much more aggressive this can be? for a simple retun of defective bracelet?

Seems like a mild mannered response considering you called his product unsafe. I don’t care if it was or not, the point is that he remained calm and professional under harsh criticism from a customer

Seems OP removed it after he realised everyone was saying it was a fair response from Uncle Seiko (which it was).

Ah, thank you. I was beginning to think I’d lost the plot

Meh, saw the original post and honestly Uncles Seikos response was unnecessary given the no questions asked guarantee. OP might have seemed unreasonable to most, but US didn't follow his own advertisements which is his own fault

That's a good point. I'm thinking with the inclusion of the watch damage statements the liability can become more than mailing OP a new $129 bracelet. I'm guessing as the accused you'd want to see a picture too regardless of whether replacement was going to happen.

I have no connection to Uncle Seiko, but seems clear that OP soon realised he was over-reacting to a rational response, that's why he deleted the whole thing.

Unlce Seiko addresses this above his return policy stating that they won't be held liable for any damage from insall, use or failure.

Had I been the OP I would have been displeased with the service FWIW.

OP didn't want another bracelet, he wanted a return. Which is allegedly "no questions asked". He wasn't upset until requested to show proof of his claim, which is uneccessary given the policy.

I imagine the OP deleted his post given the gas lit response.

Truth be told I didn't know about the company prior to this thread, and know far too much about their company policy as a result.

Personally wish the OP didn't delete his post as I thought it was an informative review of a company based on his personal experience. Followed by others chiming in with theirs.

I don't have a dog in the fight either way, just my observations.

the bracelets do look like good quality. The website layout is pretty nice as well. I haven't modded a watch since some SKX mods from Dagaz back in the day, seems like the industry has come a long way since.
