All this talk about dealing with Greys....I've had a great response.

I'm not sure what all the chatter is about dealing with them.

My experience has been very positive.

Great watch congratulations.
The bird on the other hand that’s another story lol. My Auntie has an African Gray named Guacamole and he hates everyone other than my Auntie and my daughter Willow.
They have made sure that the gray is willed to my daughter and man does that bird love my daughter.
Sure is a beautiful bird though

I've had a great experience w/ an Orange Wing Amazon, but not an African Grey. It was mean as hell & barked like a dog.

Yes, Chestnut-Fronted Macaw (Severe Macaw).

I've never had a macaw. Have had two Pionus (Jake is a maximilian Pionus - also previously had a blue head pi) and a Goffin's cockatoo. Always wanted an umbrella cockatoo, but, never wanted to deal with the noise. Macaws are so beautiful though!

Wow, niiiiice!

Personally, get a Hyacinth as the macaw did reach puberty and at ~16 years became... challenging. Got Billie at 16 weeks young btw and hand weened her. Billie was donated to a Parrot tourist spot in Florida with enough 'supplies' for quite some time. If I was to do it again, a Hyacinth would be my choice.

Gorgeous birds!

Always fancied a Norwegian Blue..."beautiful plumage".
They do tend to pine for the Fjords though.

I've had a Greater Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, a Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, a few Cockatiels and a couple of doves as well as the African Grey and a Hahns Macaw.

The Grey is about 20 years old now. Wonderful temperament and very quiet.

Well this is unexpected. I have an timneh African grey and a rose breasted cockatoo. Quite a bit of work to provide enough enrichment and appropriate diet and time outside in aviary, but worth it. Not to be undertaken on a whim!

The problem is that you can’t swear around them! If I had a grey I’m pretty sure he’d get cancelled!

Why are all these seagulls permitted to invade your estates? Very un-Rolex lifestyle.
