Issue with my Seamaster
I purchased a Seamaster Chrono (2225.80) back in May. Over the last month I noticed that it only holds power for 8-10 hours. So basically I take it off my wrist at night and by mid morning, it's dead.
This is pretty ridiculous as my Rolex can last for 2-3 days and when I bought the seas master, it was not this bad. I e-mailed Omega so I am going to see what they say. I have never damaged the watch...the movement/internals...the bezel I had replaced due to damage. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts.

Depends could be when you smacked the bezel hard enough it damaged something inside.

Did you wear it at least 8 hour/day,if yes then you should send your watch to your nearest omega's store to check your problem.I had a same watch with you(the black one),sometime when I rarely wear it then it stops at night. But when I start using it frequently then it also works steadily

I hit the bezel back in May right after I bought it. I scraped it on the pebble finish if my pool while diving in...not smart.
This power issue just started happening. I wear it nearly everyday..odd. I'll run it by the Omega Boutique to see what they can or cannot do.

Are you fully winding the watch everytime you put it on? As well, was it bought brand new? If everything is done properly and the watch is new perhaps the mainspring is a pemon and needs to be changed, if it's pre-owned it couls be metal fatigue that makes it lose power reserve.

It's not a quartz, all automatic watches MUST be wound. If you keep it on a winder is it a quality winder that is providing the correct motions? Cheap winders don't keep all watches wound. Even my expensive winder doesn't keep one of my watches running.. It just depends. Try winding it with the crown, 40 full turns and see what happens. Self winding watches only wind if you have motion. For instance if you sit at a desk its not getting swing time to wind.
