Omega will service these if the movement is placed in the watch for the first time. These watches are not fake, but there are some made with Vietnamese cases and fake movements that are in fact fake.

These watches are 100% authentic Omega parts. I know, I have built 4. Would I try to mail it through customs in another country? Probably not. Do you I use Omega for service on any of my watches? No. I use Rik Dietel...better than Omega service.

x2 As long as it's all Omega and it costs closer to 2k than 10k, I don't see the problem. I think most here are well-aware what a Watchco SM300 is. These Watchcos are probably a big part of the reason Omega will supposedly tighten up parts supplies in 2015.

Thanks Rob. All the more reason why anyone interested in one should get one now...the prices now are hovering around $2500...that is going to shoot through the roof!
