I agree, His threads were enjoyable to me as well on many levels...and yes he was a polarizing character as Abdullah mentioned.

Social media (facebook) is garbage to begin with. If you think things are rough here go on some of the audio forums and see some of the pontificating BS they're pushing !

The forums and social media sites without any members or participants seem to be the best.

So I started my own forum, signed up as 10 different people then spend the day arguing with myself. And of course banning myself on occasion as well.

Finally this whole internet thing works.

You jest. I did exactly that. Well, there are a few members and I don’t argue with myself. But those are the only differences.

I have a rant. The rant forum pages load way too slow. How do I jailbreak the accelerator?

Hey now, we are just getting started.

But that’s good feedback. I’ll let my IT guys know.

Thank you,

I understand and see where the OP is coming from. However, when I feel that way, I just don't visit as often to take a break.

It was for you own good. She's a mean vindictive person, and when I last talked to her she was doing a google search on you.

Stay safe.

Never let Paul come near your mother, just saying.

Yes. This is exactly the kind of thread that need to be banned.
Instead we should be talking about the 116719 BLRO and how it is now a modern classic that is HUGELY undervalued at the moment and ways we as a community can increase the value of this very important watch in Rolex history.*

*full disclosure: current owner of 116719 BLRO. Can't blame a guy for trying!

I like where this is heading, hijack upon hijack...

Can’t wait for the demand to have Mods change the thread topic to “Why I loved TRF”

We should note that the grey market will sell the new SS pepsi for more than the 116719.

Move on? Apparently you didn't read my whole post. All good..

Enjoy the all the "official my un-confirmed discontinued watch is going to be worth millions" threads....
Sigh....... Tisk tisk....... Since I have been a member , the things you are complaining about have existed.

Looking at a decade !!

This is still the best place to discuss all issues of fine timepieces, bar none. Just read the posts you like and ignore the ones you don't ......

In the grand scheme of things - it's a privilege to be a member and share the burden of owing fine timepieces
